Still no miles from 2 orders delivered early Jan.I am steeling myself for the tedious and frustrating fight to get them, last time it took 2 letters,(1 of them recorded delivery)1 fax,and about 40 minutes of phone calls.
All rather galling as the only possible reason to order from them is for the miles,Tesco do comparable wine cheaper IMHO.
But then it might still be worth it for 6000 miles.

Ditto here, my grand plan to soak in a bucket of miles and wine is not yet coming to fruition - I've already been in contact with no response from VWines.
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles
I had trouble trying to organise suitable flights with my airmiles last year so decided to use mine and my DH miles for Wine
Phoned Flying club who emailed me vouchers to use at Virgin wines
I ordered 3 cases one of various champagnes one a mix of white and red with the last one proscecco (think thats how its spelt)
(The red was rubbish but I dont like red)
All delivered very swiftly with the deliveryman even carrying my crates into the house
the only thing we paid for was the delivery
slurpppppppppp
I would use my miles this way antime, less hassel than trying to book flights

I too ordered a few cases in early Jan to get the 3,750 points a case. I was chasing them up last week and found the following reply in my inbox this morning!
---------------------
Dear Edward,
Thank you for contacting Virgin Wines.
It seems none of the cases went through the correct link to earnmiles. I
have emailed my call centre manager to have a look into this as you shoudlnt
be able to order those cases without not going through the link. I will
keep you posted.

Thanks - I am on my third query now to VWines with no response. If they have screwed up then they are very silly, ad false advertising can be costly! Will let you know what update I have but be interested if anyone did get the bonus miles?

I phoned them again yesterday (this is the third time in two months) and was told that the miles details are sent across to VS every Friday and that they can then take another month to show on your statement. I ponted out that this 'following the right link' line was a completely specious argument as (in my views) as long as your are a FC member the process should be seamless. Not holding my breath but have warned them that unless it is srted out this time i'll be taking my wine purchases elsewhere.
Cheers
