I've heard the view expressed that the UC suite is narrower/shorter on the A343/346 v 747. Is this correct?

My beef with the A346 is the lack of toilets in UC. 3 for a full cabin when everyone is changing out of PJ's is totally inadequate. Ditch the IFBT, install another loo.

I quite agree with this - the ratio of loos per UC pax on the 346 is criminal and there's plenty of room for another, even by the front K side loo where there's the little and totally underused galley.

For rickjt62 and another posting, I'd move your seats from the D's since they're in the middle, go for A's or K's. Yes, the suites on the 340s are narrower than the 747s but I still find the 346 to be a better experience because of the lack of noise. The 747 air circulation is soooo noisy in comparison.

I still love the 747s. Admittedly the 346 is less noisy and newer but there's something special about getting on a 747.The 346 in UC is fine (well more than that actually) and I'd second slinky's suggestion about moving from the D seats. I used to loathe and detest the 346 but it has grown on me over time (although the dearth of toilets in UC can cause queues). I personally prefer the K sets along the dividing wall (3,4,5 K for my clan) as there's more privacy.Looking forward to my next trip upstairs in August [:D]

(And we all know that 40's worryingly close to 'the other side', right? [:p])

I don't know what you mean. Did someone say birthday?
