VS025 / VS026 Cancelled from October 2008.

Virgin has announced the VS25/26 LHR-JFK service will be cancelled from 26th October 2008.

Affected pax will be reprotected on the VS9/10 LHR-JFK or VS17/18 LHR-EWR.

This is to free up aircraft for the launch of the 2nd LHR-HKG service, since open skies there is now too much capacity on NYC.

It is already being discussed in this thread, about the second Hong Kong but I will leave this one as a stand alone topic about the New York cut backs.
