From VS website:
'A 5% discount will be given on brochure price and 'Megadeals' holidays, plus 2 miles for every £1 spent on the total value of your booking. All bookings must be made directly with Virgin Holidays and exclude insurance and accommodation only bookings.
Standard Flying Club miles can only be earned for the Virgin Atlantic flight when taking a package holiday or 'Megadeals'.'

I think some may be getting confused between the miles you earn on the flight as per normal with a VS flight and the miles you can earn when paying for the holiday on a Virgin Atlantic credit card. At least, it seems to me that we are talking about both items in the one thread?
Thanks,
Sarah

I think the 'value' of the alternative benefits for FVC members + a 5% discount against a plain 10% discount would depend on the value of the booking. As far as I am concerned as I tend to spend c£5k per booking an extra 5% discount (c£250) is worth far more than any of the other new 'benefits' offered.
