This may be a general statement.

During the course of the flight people tend to congregate around the loos a. to stretch their legs (if by an exit) and b. to use the loo itself. This can mean that if you are sat next to them you will see a lot of traffic and a lot of bums as your face will be about level with this part of the anatomy of people in said queue.

While this may not be much of a problem during the day it can be a pain at night when the lights are dimmed and people bump into you.

The other angle of course is if the loo is faulty and may not flush properly etc. I'll leave you to use your imagination in this respect but it can be unpleasant.

Hope this helps.

I sat in those seats when we went to Boston and they were fine. Yes you are by the toilets but I never noticed it become a problem, perhaps because i was on a day flight and sleep wasn't an issue. The only problem i noticed was that because you are at the back of the PE cabin you are last to get served food etc and during my flight they ran out of both meat choices so it was vegetarian for me which i don't mind but for my partner it was an issue especially when they found him another meal but it was stone cold!
Whereabouts are you flying to?
