i was looking for the check-in animations yesterday and wondered why they had vanished from the site

can't decide whether to olci or go the traditional route. will need to bag drop anyway so will probably use the old-fashioned approach and I do want a nice purple boarding pass!

There is nothing to stop you doing OLCI to make sure you bag the suite of your choice, then using the normal UC check in to get your purple pass.

I have seen the airport scanners struggle to read home printed boarding passes several times, so I assume VS / BAA would prefer it if you had a 'proper one'. [8D]

Do OLCI anyway... then at T3 you can do whatever you wish. Their system will tell them if you're only dropping a bag.
