I'm travelling (alone) PE on VS043 shortly and reserved a seat a few weeks ago. Now, in Manage My Booking, no option to check or change the seat is showing. Also, since I booked, there has never been an option to reserve a seat for the return flight.

Would anyone happen to know if this is normal practice? Will the seat I reserved still be allocated to me even though I can't check or change it online?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

This is one of the most common questions from newcomers to the site in recent months, and is covered in lots of threads.

One being here,but there are many others.

Whilst it is worth pointing out that you request seats rather than reserve them, it seems you will probably be okay on your outbound, and you will probably best doing early OLCI for the return.

Just to add to Nick's reply. Due to a very recent change in the manage my booking section on the VS site, when the seat map is no longer available, it currently does not show your existing seat numbers/reservation under your name like it used to do (and as mentioned in the thread Nick linked too) even those any existing requests will still be saved. Whether this is permanent or not I am not sure, but I would hope not as it does cause confusion now.
