So I am flying on Thursday on VS045 to JFK and have been looking at the CH menu - afterall a little advanced planning wont go amis.

I plan to get to the CH by 10.30 for some breakfast before my facial at 11.30 and then some brunch before boarding (facials can be soooo exhausting!)

That means I'll have a selection from the pre and post 11.30 menus.

This got me wonderinng what the favourite menu items were from other v-flyers.

So come on tell me what would you have if you were in my place on Thursday.

Champers is of course compulsory !

If any v-flyers are in the CH come and say hello to Tonty and Captain Beary B Bearenberger(oh and Chris too - we need him to carry out bags)

You should try the Eggs Benedict, and make sure it's a double, one just isn't enough.

Touche!

I agree, EB for breakfast with champagne mojitos then a facial or a massage followed by shepherds pie and the current Rioja or Bordeaux of the day. Then, a couple of champagnes before boarding ... hic

Of course mojitos are food! [}:)]

Another vote here for the Eggs Benedict, although my niece raved over the shepherds pie. Aer John swears by the Clubhouse burger.

I must confess I haven't really got into the mojitos. Mind you, it was impossible to do that on my last trip as the lady kept on topping up my glass of champagne on the grounds that I wasn't driving the bus. If the call hadn't come for the flight I would have been higher than the plane ever was!!

There is something very civilised about eating EB and quaffing sipping champagne at 8 in the morning.

No Darren, you were right first time. Champagne is meant to be quaffed, not sipped

Eggs Ben are good, english breakfast is OK too, with champagne I also really like the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (extra toasted brioche is a must).

For lunch, I've liked the salmon, and the burger. Sticky toffee pudding was excellent last time I was there for lunch.

Some pretty decent unoaked chardonnay, which made up for the lack of Plymouth Gin.
