We have 4 nights in Vegas in December, flying back to SFO for the connecting VA flight home. Usually I would book AA or something similar internally, but was wondering if there is any reason why I should not try Virgin Amercia, since the advertising caught my eye on the Virgin site.

Business Class seems very cheap compared to other carriers; are connections easy re terminals etc? Any reason not to?

Any opinion worthwhile, thank you.

I would say go for it. We did the same thing, the flight times work pretty well for connecting with the VS20 and although we only flew Economy on Virgin America it was excellent.

We used them (in First) to travel LAS-SFO last August. There's a TR that I posted that will give you an idea of the service level.
Absolutely no reason not to.

would definately do it - free drinks on the flight, a snack box and also big comfy seats! Would prob choose row 2 if it is available - the first row look through perspex at the flight crew on the left.

No reason not to fly VX. Excellent service!

Excellent service, just a shame I can't book via VS and therefore have it part of my itin.

Just checked the times of the flights from LAS - either 9.20, arr. 11am or 12.35, arr. 14.20 (seems a long time!)

Would we be OK getting the latter flight, allowing for connections to the VS20 16.55 departure from SFO?

Thanks.

We did the arrival at 14.20 at the end of Feb and it was fine.

The bags came off the VX flight very quickly and we just went upstairs and rechecked in with VS for the 16.55 flight. Our preallocated seats hadn't been changed which is what I was initially worried about but the timings worked out nicely, still giving us sufficient time to have a quick snack and look around duty free before boarding was announced.
