Hi
I used to have an application on my computer that updated my screen background everyday with a new picture, but I had to get my laptop fixed and I can no longer find it. Does anyone have any idea where to find it?

I got t off the virgin facebook page but cant find it now.

Virgin Window is in the flying club and not very easy to find. That's a shame because it is a fun little tool.

Try this link-

http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/us/fr ... /index.jsp

The linkis from the US site so it might now work in the UK. Its in the Lounge Section. You might be able to find it from there.

As mentioned - you need to be logged into the USA site.

It shows as unavailable if you are logged into the UK site.

Edit - Reena has said that it is now back on the Facebook wall.

First log in on the UK site; then change to US: you are still logged in and can download.

Anyway to modify it, so it fits a widescreen monitor ?

The images that Virgin are 'sending' are 1280 * 1024 so 4:3. You might be able to get rid of the tiling effect by going into personalize for your desktop and choosing the fill screen option down the bottom of the wallpaper option. This will crop some of the image though.

It's not working for me, as such, as the wallpaper disappears as I do this, but a different image is offered that fits. However if I run the virgin program again it seems to reset back to the tiled image. Hmmm.

There's an alternative out there that i've used before... I haven't tried the Virgin application, but there is a program available called 'John's Background Switcher', which does much the same thing.
The great thing about it is that you tell it what topic you want to view photos of, and it then downloads random photos from public photo websites like flickr. My boss has it set to display 'rugby' photos. Ahem.
Read more about it and download it here... http://www.johnsadventures.com/software ... dswitcher/ ... sadly it's only available for windowz. :(
