I don't know if it will be extended David, but given that we haven't reached the fabled 25th birthday yet - it isn't 'till June. I think there is a strong possibility that it will be extended / repeated or at least a variation on a theme will be promoted for the birthday celebrations.

Thanks Nick

mmm, decisions decisions, where to go - some of these sale fares are very cheap. Just need one more to retain Gold.

At the risk of splitting hairs, that link is to the 25th birthday 'offer of the week' - which is PE and Y only.
My link is to the 25th birthday Upper class sale - which ends in two days time - hence David's question, I think. [:D][:D]

Sorry Nick I stand corrected, but I cant see you link. Anyway I was lookling for a UC sale and couldnt see one as the fares are the same as I booked without a sale price. Apologies :-)

And they say women nit-pick! [:D] You lot are worse than a set of old women - and I should know, I'm one.

David, while I can't answer your question definitively, I just want to say that there was one early this year. I can't remember when it ended but I know I missed out because I was waiting for friends to come back and confirm dates. I need not have worried. Almost immediately there was another one with better fares and the closing date was March 24. I booked on March 21 and heaved a sigh of relief. The sale closed but the very next day the sale was up again but with less favourable fares. While I obviously do not know if it is going to continue, all I can say is that so far this year the UC sale has been a rolling event, although the fares have fluctuated.

Now back to my glass of wine. Cheers, HG! [;)]

[:w] Is it safe to come out yet ? [:D]

Thanks for everyones thoughts - I noticed when searching for some flights there seems to be lots of options with the sale prices (wont say which sale [}:)]), but can't decide if that is a good thing or not. ie they haven't sold that many so they might continue, or they haven't sold that many so they might give it a rest and try later on [?]

I should maybe just book mine and let the slow coaches catch up themselves. [:p]

A job for this afternoon I think [:)]

Thanks again

I think the prices are good, and cheaper than some PE tickets I was buying a few years back !

So I don't think the prices will get any cheaper, it's really a question of are the flights at that price available for when you want to go, and are you prepared to make a decision now.

If BA extend their sale then VS will just follow suit!
With things as they are I would expect this 'sale' will continue for a long time yet.
The prices are good though and if you're in a position to book I'd just do it to be sure.

Looks like it is a 'NO' - all Upper CLass 'sale' fares have gone from the site this morning.
