Bit of advice please from any v-flyer who recently visited Orlando. Can you still take your bags with you up the escalator before boarding the AGT or are you required to relinquish them for transportation over to baggage reclaim?

The last time me and the present Mrs Treelo travelled to MCO (2006) we could take the self service escalator route, but I just wondered with VS moving to the A side whether things had changed [:)]

There is now a new escalator which takes you right to the doors of the little train. Just take your bags with you.

You still have the option of using the transfer system, but its much much quicker now.

It is SO much better now this system is in place. If immigration is quiet, you can be off the plane and in the main terminal within 30mins easily after touch down.

Another potential bonus is by having your bags with you, you can hot foot it to the 'B' side if you are renting a car from an on-site location[;)]
