VS7 to LAX

Hi,

Just wondering do you get much alcohol in economy on this route? (not that i'm an alcoholic!) its just this is a girly holiday and thought a regular top of wine would numb the pain of an 11 hour flight!

Hmm - Alcohol's available onboard (for free) in Economy. They do reserve the right to "refuse alcohol to anyone who may appear intoxicated" though.

Having said that, according to your profile, you might have a bigger problem than whether it's available - getting served might be a challenge

not planning to get intoxicated just chilling out a relaxing more so. I was just wondering as a friend flew to vegas and was only allowed 1 drink! where as I would have thought on such a long flight you would get 2 or 3?

When I have flown BA they have always been quite generous and wondered how Virgin compared

You will be allowed as many drinks as you like (providing you are not intoxicated as Preiffer says) You get a couple of drinks rounds on the trolley, but you can ask for drinks at any time by pressing the call button.

You can order bottles of champagne on board if you are on a celebration - you may want to consider doing that?

You may also wish to consider a slow walk down the back

1 For medical reasons ie. exercise to combat DVT
2 Thats were they keep it if you don't want to use the call button.

So you won't feel guilty about asking for another drink.LOL

And as Hight Flyer states if their is a group of you travelling together a bottle of bubbly or two would no doubt set the holiday on the right track[y]

Welcome to V-Flyer.

If you are fortunate to have the V-port IFE system on your aircraft, then you will find plenty of programmes / CDs etc to keep you occupied;)

Either way, make sure you have plenty of water to drink

Theres no limit as such - just get a few drinks at a time and you should be OK.

The only people that are refused alcohol are those that look like they've had enough already!!

Remember extra booze it served at meal times too

a girlie trip to Lax? Shopping trip I assume..
