I'm sure the rear cabin has to be nice with just nine seats!!!!:D

What are the PE seats like? Are they new or old?[?]

I thought for a second then - why is Upper Class at the back of the plane?

Feel a bit silly now. [:I]

So do you think all 343s will get V PORT?
I hope so as I am scheduled for one of the new UCS 343s in November

Really [?] I though Odyssey and the existing seats were staying put. Great news though if V:port and new seats are been fitted to all the A343 A/C.

I spoke with Virgin about booking the VS22 for this fall and they said it was an Airbus with Vport...so I assume that it is going to be on the new A343...very nice.

Sorry to doubt you, but are you sure it has V:Port?

Thanks for the clarification - even if it not the news we wanted!

Suprised they still have the old PE seats though. Perhaps VS are holding back due to the rumoured launch of new PE seats soon?...

Didnt think they would give it v:port as they didnt give the lgw 744's it when they were refitted.
Shame though.

Out of curiosity, who makes the v:port system.

IFE aside I actually prefer the older PE seating!

But it has V-Port in UC right?

I rather doubt it -- planes only have a single IFE throughout.

I guess that the staff brief that VS has sent out to crew is wrong then. Thats where I got my info from.

As BC says there wouldn't be room to fit two separate IFEs - have you seen the space the take behind the bar with all the streaming units?

Me too - find it much more comfortable than the newer style ones.
