The flights are always longer over the winter period from October until March.

Im sure VS/VH would have contacted you nearer the time, they are probably working through the hundreds of passengers in date order.

In most cases it means an extra hour in bed when leaving LGW. Or more time in Orlando meaning when you land back in LGW you will avoid the rush hour on the M25!!!

Does anyone know if this has happened from MAN to MCO, I am going in Nov.

Would they let you telephone the other end to rearrange my limo if it happened at short notice?.

EGG

No the cancellations only seem to be on LGW flights, which are now posted on the VS web site, but the cancelled flights are, and I quote:

'Between London Gatwick and Orlando:

VS027/028 LGW-MCO-LGW - 7, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27 Sept 2005
VS049/050 LGW-MCO-LGW - 4, 10, 17, 24 Sept 2005

Passengers will be rebooked onto the VS015/016 London Gatwick to Orlando services on the same day.'

I still maintain this has more to do with too many flights not enough aircraft, rather than lower pax nos[V]

I can just confirm as a staff member that the cancellations are down to lack of bookings in the last part of the year. Seemingly the hurricanes of last year have possibly put customer's off. Load figures are a lot lower than forecasted on all leisure routes. That's it! Am sure your holiday will be wonderful though, and Declan is so right about the traffic gettting home! Maybe see you onboard sometime!

southernbelle, Looking at the seating plan for my Nov trip the PE section looks very underbooked, do you think this might affect my flight too from Man?
