It has also been mentioned on some websites that the 747-8F may make an appearance too.
I've uploaded some photo's of its arrival. I'm sure there's a clever way to link to an album but can't work it out at the moment.

So thats what i heard flying over this morning!
Reports suggest the dreamliner will be put back again until at least early 2011 when ANA get the first ones.

Great pictures
It's a beautiful aeroplane.
Its arrival and Farnborough generally prompted the headline on Virgin Media news...
"Air show to feature flying displays"
Well I never. Whatever next?

We can get better, because we're not dead yet

Thanks for those, as Bill says, great pictures - it's certainly a modern looking plane but in the 787-7 (???) version a bit stumpy, like a B762. The longer version will be prettier methinks!
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles
VS have ordered the -9 variant. This is longer than the -8 variant at Farnborough.
someones got the check book out and Boing and Airbs are going to be very happy !
BBC Farnborough plane orders revealed
though think of the miles if they got the credit cards out ...

Huzzah for International Jet-setting !
Hmm not too sure i like the look of it! But then again i didnt really like the look of the A380 much when it 1st came out but its grown on me!
I was reading somewhere that this dreamliner will enable lower air pressure in the cabin - which will lessen jetlag. Is that right, does that have a part to play in jetlag, I always assumed it was a combination of time zones and dehydration. But cabin pressure too - who knew? Not me, that's for sure
Other way round - they have a higher, more normal, cabin pressure.
Probably the greater difference is a higher humidity.
The theory is that jetlag is partly caused by difference from norm.
But most believe it is due to timezones... so Boeing sales pitch.
