What's wrong with doing it today? I've just done it myself.

I got it into my thick skull that it closed 30th Oct, and the thought stayed there from my previous post. Its actually by 30th Nov. I would have checked last night, but my PDA was running out of juice.

I really do need a Doh smiley after my performance on this board yesterday. Talk about thick or what[?][|)]

Do not be so hard on yourself! :)

Just wanted to clear that point up so others realise they have a month to benefit from a very healthy opportunity!

In my case, this represents a free chauffeur driven car for this Sunday [y]

My points posted into my account today, and I only played last Thursday night :D:D

I have a theory that they do the miles credit run for the offer on a Monday night for activity up to the previous Friday so when you complete your qualification miles will be credited between 4 and 11 days later.

Of course - it's only a theory - we need an exception to prove this rule.;)

Where does it say that the offer is open to 30th November? It did say that in October on the VA web site as at the 31st October, but since we have moved into November this offer has dissapeared? By using various links on this thread, I seem to be able to register for the 10,000 miles.

The terms and conditions are here. Term number 3 says
3. The £100 stake has to be played through by 30th November 2005.
. So it looks like 30/11 is the deadline to me.

Am I right in thinking that the refer-a-friend and the matching offer can be used together?

Who'd like to refer me?

Drop me a PM :)

Shouldn't be too much of a problem - all the details are in this thread - don't forget to use the V-Flyer link first though (see page 2 of this thread, 3rd post down)

Who'd like to refer me?

You got PM :D

Cheers

:) 2 return legs to India, 1 hour of playing in the casino, a couple of cases of wine and a few months on the ol' company amex and I will have enough miles to take myself and someone else to the US next year. Shame it won't be UC though... unless I get my stay here extended [}:)]. Not bad IMO

[:(!]

Just tried to register with the casino and got this email:
Thank you for your application to open an account with the Virgin Casino.

Unfortunately I have not been able to complete your application. This is either because I could not verify all the registration details you provided or it appears that you reside in one of our Prohibited Jurisdictions. For more information about Prohibited Jurisdictions please see our Legal section for more information.

Seems like the fact that I'm sat in a Miami hotel room is going to scupper this one for me.

I don't fly home for another week (VS6 of course) and then I'm off to LA for a week so looks like I won't have much time to indulge in a bit of online gambling [:?]

I even tried using an anonymous and UK based web proxy - still no luck.

It's boring as hell here too - could do with something to take my mind off the work...

Works for me. I played on Fri 28th, and the rear admiral on the 29th. Our miles went in today. So that's the monday night, just over a week after the friday of play.

Now where to spend those miles.[:?]

Thank you all for a great thread and advice - just what v-flyer is all about.[y][oo]

I actually ended £90 up after playing the slots today.......should have easily got the 50 miles I need to withdraw as well.

Is it just me or are the slots very slow sometimes? Was playing a few minutes ago and there are times where the reels just keep spinning (for up to 30secs) whilst it's waiting for data. Sometimes they stop, other times I get "you cannot have more than one page open at once" or some other error comes up and the game closes once I click OK.
Does this at random times during the day too.

I'm having real problems :D

after depositing £40, and winning £750, I withdrew £710, keeping my original £40 to "bet away", and have since won another £100 - now safely banked.

So Virgin Casino have so fgar givrn me 10,000 miles and £850!!

These £10k miles just keep getting cheaper [}:)][}:)]

p.s. Sorry to brag!! :)

£130 is the most I've ever managed to get up to.......don't like placing larger bets as your money vanishes in seconds.....managed that £90 with £1.50 bets and did a few £3.00 bets for a while yesterday but noticed I wasn't winning as much so dropped it and started get luckier again........63.67 miles from it though which isn't too bad for a bit of fun :)

A word to the wise - Virgin Casino have now started crediting refer-a-friend & match bonuses in a slightly different manner.

Previously, the bonus would show as an immediate non-withdrawable credit to your account, which you could play with straight away. Their new method of crediting an account is that it shows as a non-withdrawable amount, but it's only released to you in cash as you play through any "normal" credit in your account.

For example: your casino account balance is nil and a £25 refer-a-friend bonus is credited...
- under old method, you could play through the £25 and withdraw any winnings resulting
- under new method, you need to make a deposit to your account first, then you can play through the £25 and withdraw any winnings resulting.

Personally, I think the new method sucks - I don't see why I should have to make an extra deposit to the account to be able to receive a previously earned bonus (especially when they advertise it as a "cash credit" to the account) [n][n][n][n]

Cheers

Agreed that sucks [n]

I'm wondering how and when the 100% sign-up bonus gets credited. I originally deposited £50 and passed the £500 mark a few days ago.

If I look at My Account, the "games room bet" now only shows £60 whereas it was definitely over £500 a day or so again - why has this been zeroed at some point?

Finally, has anyone managed to use the site on a Mac? When you click the "Table Games" and then try to select Blackjack (for example), the picture on the right doesn't change from Bingo, so you can't play it. [n]

Having said all that, my original £50 is currently at £72.50 and i've had my 10k miles credited so I won't complain too much. It's better than I did in Vegas :).

Hi

Have joined the Casino via the relevant link and put in Flying Club etc...

Deposited £10 and played Blackjack. Looking at my account it says "Games Room Bet £101".

Do I need to do anything more or does this meet the criteria of staking/playing through at least £100 in bets (meaning that the 10000 miles should be credited in due course)

Could someone confirm / clarify please

Regards

AFAIK that's all you need to do. I didn't do any more than that and a few days later, a very nice 10K miles appeared in my FC account. [8D]

Well my Games Room Bet (£109.00) is what is shown on my account. So, I'm hoping that 10,000 miles will be in my account shortly! I only spent £15.50, very cheap for 10,000 miles.

How long has it taken for other people?

Seems to be a regular batch run. Depending on when you hit the £100 threshold, it appears to kick in between 2 & 14 days afterwards. Mine took around 10 days - maybe it's fortnightly?

Some have reported up to 30 days (and, I have a feeling, some are still waiting? - But that would indicate there's a problem somewhere). Is anyone still waiting after more than 30 days?

Having managed to lose £3.90 in obtaining the 10,000 miles for my wife, we then transfered the balance back to her Virgin Credit Card. The amount has now been credited back 6 times over 2 days to her card account, so she is delighted with new style gambling!
