New to Flying Club... am i supposed to get a card?

Im new to flying club. Am i supposed to recieve a card?
I signed up on the 18th of August. Today 9th of November i get an invoice in the mail.
1st thing i ever recieve from virgin.... [?]
I thought i was supposed to recieve a Red FF card....?

I think you get the red card after your first qualifying flight as far as I recall

That's what I thought but I was surprised that my card turned up this weekend as did my partners and our flight was not point earning. Got the Casino points though so don't know if that triggered it.

Yea i signed up at check in of my 1st flight....haha

I too received a card throught the post this week after a non-qualifying flight. I'll be making sure my next ones aren't as I'm going to be getting as many miles as possible over the next few months
