Hi

I have a quick question.

I have a photo on my desktop of an old 747 - 100 I think it is. Anyway, it's the one with just three windows in the top deck.

What used to be upstairs on these planes?

with only three windows on each side their couldn't have been many seats.

Just curious

The upstairs I believe on some airlioens was used as a lounge for their first class passesngers, but thats only what Ive read.
Note that not all 100 series had just 3 windows either side... which makes the hunt for one a bit harder.
I guess this isnt much help.
Still, i hope you find it of interest

Yeah, on airport 1978 it was a lounge with a piano, poker table and bar.

The upper deck had 14 seats and a lounge with bar. Here's a (not very good) photo of it. Click on the link and zoom in. Saw this ad a few days ago whilst I was searching for VS ads.

It's kinda funny that the prices in dollars for an EC flight are pretty much the same as they are now.
