I've been reading the site for quite a while now and it's now coming up to when I can choose my seats, hence my first post.

I'm flying to MCO, first time in UC, with a friend. I've seen the subject raised about which seats are best for a couple but we really don't fancy seats 6A/K or 7A/K(looks too compact for our liking. Would you suggest either sitting opposite each other or sitting next to each other? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the site.

Personally I like row 6 for a couple which is more private but opionions vary immensely. If you are worried about the seats being too close together then for a first time trip with a friend I would probably go for 8A/K opposite eachother.

I would always try and avoid rows 11 and 12 as they a too close to the bar, toilets and galley for me.

hi and welcome to V-Flyer.

Mrs buns and I prefer to sit on the same side of the aircraft and my favourite UC seats on the 747 out of LGW are 8 & 9A.[y]

You might care to check out V-flyer's Seat ratings to see what others think.

Enjoy your flight and don't forget the TR;)
