Looks like Virgin are now promising the cheapest fares online in the UK for their website. If you find it cheaper anywhere else online you get a refund. Good to have your mind put at rest I suppose.

London Gatwick to Orlando return trip departing 29th January, returning 5th February in Premium Economy :
Virgin Atlantic on line price = £609.30
Netflights.com on line price = £627.30
London Gatwick to Orlando return trip departing 2nd April, returning 15th April in Premium Economy :
Virgin Atlantic on line price = £1013.50
Netflights.com on line price = £918.00 (But no availability)
Wonder how many people will actually be able to make a claim !

It says that "The class purchased must be the lowest fare available within the booked class." (ie: Q/B/L/etc within "Economy Lowest")
Then it goes on to say that:

Given that we know VS themselves SET these fare levels for each code along with the associated conditions, it'd be impossible to beat it.
ie: If I bought a "Lowest Available" va.com ticket in M class, but found a Q class available cheaper elsewhere on T'internet, the guarantee wouldn't apply, as the conditions and fare type are different. [:?][:(]
I'd like to see someone buy an L, for less than an L is available on va.com, somewhere else... [ii]
So it's not really a "guarantee", as such, as the conditions mean that there isn't really an option for the eventuality to ever occur.
It is a 'time will tell' situation. They won't do themselves any favours with splitting hairs over fare classes.
Joe Public for whom there are only three classes wil soon lose confidence if he sees cheaper economy flights elsewhere, but is told that the guarantee doesn't apply because of what he perceives as a 'technicality'.
No doubt any refusals to 'honour' the guarantee to V-Flyers, will soon be highlighted on here

Whilst it's a while since I booked away from VA I'm sure that places like netflights don't show the fare class until the paper or E - Ticket arrive.
The T & C's say any claim must be completed same day

My recent experience seems to show that other agencies or companies advertising wonderful prices are no different to the website anyway.
While the fares are often the same there is a significant differnece between say expedia and VS direct if booking for other members of staff which I do.
The difference is that the expedia booking does not ndeed to inlcude credit card holder and the VS direct booking does.
