Ok seeing as it's a bit quiet around here, and seeing as I'm flying on Saturday and am very excited and seeing as this question is asked a lot, I want to have a list from you, why do you enjoy flying UC so much, no negative criticism though [V].

(I did a search but it wouldn't work, feel free to lock)

Come on, everything you like about the whole UC experience.

Limo, Lounge, Haircut, food, drink, priority boarding, suite, V:Port (strictly not a J feature), freedom menu (not necessarily the food on it though), early off the plane, limo. Repeat but add the flat bed sleep on the eastbound return. Miles.

Makes me feel posh.
Crew.
Priority boarding.
Not experienced the Limo, as having only flew Z, although doing a J next year. So another all new experience to get hooked on..

Having just completed a Economy trip with Virgin I now appreciate UC travel so much more. The experience is just completely different!

Its all of the above and to me the way things are done on my time not when the crew are doing the "meal" service. Ie, I hated sitting with my food tray in front of me for what seemed like hours before it was cleared away. In UC it would have been whisked away as soon as they noticed i'd finished.

Roll on the next UC trip!

All the stress of travelling being taken away and being left just to enjoy it. For example:-

No worry about getting to the airport, traffic and parking (thanks to limo)

No queueing to check in

No walking aimlessly trying to kill the time before check in and jostling with the crowds trying to find a seat

No worrying whether I have lost the kids

Great food and service in the CH and children kept amused so not pestering me

Priority boarding - again no waiting around

On board - SPACE and room to sleep, less queueing for toilets

All in all arriving at your destination happy and relaxed rather than exhausted, stressed and hating your own children!! Worth every penny:D

I've only done UC on three individual flights. Can't say I've ever had reason to complain, not even having a suite where V:Port didn't work caused a complaint. Infact on that flight I even thanked the FSM for an amazing flight and particularly fantastic guy who looked after us.

Problem with that is it leaves nothing else to get excited about - once you've done the lot, you've done the lot! :)

Looking to your right at check in, turning left on the plane and the crazy indulgence of it. but really its the speed of landside formalities, easy airside and a bed and a bar[:w][:w][:w]
I was chatting to a Quantas 1st FA the other day who was telling me about an oz family on his last flight with 5 kids who were on full price F tickets and guessed at just shy of £50,000 the round trip[:0]

Whats not to like :)

Every flight i have ever had in Upper has been faultless, might just be my luck, but even going back to J2000 days the whole flight has been seamlessly perfect. I might get 'used' to J flying, but i never get 'bored' of the whole 'Clubhouse, Treatment, Boarding, Bar, Bubbly, Meal, Movie ... ' thing!

Im counting the days till my next Upper flight ... 25 to be exact ... :):):)

I am waiting impatiently for my first VS flight ever, and in Upper Class ... I have heard so much good about it.

Hmm, let me see - all of the above - and it's probably easier to ask what I don't like about flying UC. Easy answer.....nothing :D

Tried the limo once, and it's good (when they get the directions right) - especially with DTCI. That said, for me anyway, the price of a taxi service from each point isn't the same as the Z-D differential :D

Cheers

Never had the limo experience, and have only flown UC a couple of times - BUT everything everyone has said, plus not feeling I should dress smartly, in case staff are on the lookout for SFU........oh, and not having to jostle in the departure area.... oh, and....lol :D
