Thanks Paul

Have just booked my husband out end January. Waiting to see if there are any special PE fares for myself or may talk him round this afternoon and book a Z for myself.

If you've got any FC Miles there's some good bargains to be had at the end of January/start of February using "Miles Plus Money" as I've discovered :D

Thanks Andrew got plenty of miles but tend to use them for my husband and I earn the tier points and miles to keep my gold status.

For him its not as important as his account is supplementary silver and he really doesn't care how he gets from A to B, he can sleep on a washing line and regulary manages on 4 hours sleep or less!

The only thing he misses from UC is the champagne but he makes up for that the rest of the year (need a drunken smiley).

Well, they've now added the following:

San Francisco From £259
Shanghai From £299
Boston From £199
Washington DC From £209

(For clarification, none of these Y sale fares qualify for any miles/tier points - sorry!)

There's also an Upper Class Indian route offer - details here.

[V] Despite the fact the T&C's for this offer state:

Flying Club miles, bonus miles and tier points are available on selected booking classes only (subject to the Flying Club Terms & Conditions) - please check at time of booking.

Special offer fares Y fares (ie N class bookings) not earning miles is really starting to wind me up now [n]
