Anyone like to second guess how many FC miles It would 'cost' to fly from SYD to ADL?

The program isn't up yet and I would like to book a flight but only have 10K.

Wonderng wether it could be worth waiting or buying now so as to get a low fare whilst its available.

I know it's like 'How long's a piece of string.....'

I would guess in the 25k range, may well be worth buying now to get the good fares...however (just to cover my butt)this is a guess

Partner redemption rates are notoriously bad.

As a quick guide here are some comparative Partner redemptions

10k - An internal Caribean flight.
12.5l - BMI (UK, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Dublin)
15k - America West (<750miles), All Nippon (Internal,Japan-Korea), Air New Zealand (Internal), Singapore Air(SIN-Malaysis/Brunei/Indonesia)
20k - SAA (Internal), SAS (Europe Internal), BMI (Other Europe), All Nippon (Japan-N Asia/Guam), Air New Zealand (Oz,Pacific Islands).

I guess SYD-ADL at 711miles should be around 15k-20k (domestic fares are far higher than N. America so don't bet on an America West type deal)

If you can bag a saver fare for around £100 might be best to go for it.
