VS Not An Airline of the Year

Just saw this link on A.net, sorry if this is actually an old study. But according to Airlinequality.com, VS is not one of the best 9 airlines in the world, and only appears on best business class, which they got third. BA does appear though on multiple categories and won a couple. I can't say I'm surprised. I don't mean to get into a heated arguement here, but many of the changes VS has made to its service this year haven't exactly improved it.

Virgin Blue on the other hand was voted best LCC in Australia and third in the world.

AFAIR its contributors have never been particularly pro VS, but hey.. everyone is entitled to their opinions. [8D]

3rd in IFE
And they rank Singapore Air 4th overall and QANTAS (for the good Lord) second. Hmmm. Many would disagree.

I'd say it was the one of, if not THE best in the world!

Maybe the reason for not winning the biz class section is the F*** word hehe!;)

I love flying with Virgin, something to do with a fantastic flight I had in the 90's. Whilst Virgin has been one of the most innovative airlines in modern aviation it has stood still a little in the last few years and service has taken a noticable dip which. Perhaps as result of this the perception of Virgin Atlantic with the public may have changed and not be a high as it once was.

Also if you look at the 1-7 Airlines in the list they are all "Flag Carriers" with deep pockets. They lost out big style to Virgin in the 90's and have now caught up!!
