Well using my extensive knowledge of mental disorders (A Level Psychology and watching every episode of Frasier) I have come up with a new Psychological Disorder, known as Post Upper Class Distress Syndrome of which I am suffering acutely!

The cause would appear to be an amazing UC experience outbound and then an even better flight back from Miami (the trend of inbound flights seem to be over, but I shall save it all for the Trip Report)! The symptoms appear to be boredom, insomnia, and an addiction to the Virgin Atlantic Website looking at various things to do with 130k of miles!

I was hoping that other probable sufferers would be able to share their experiences and suggestions for curing this dangerous disorder!

You're thinking along the wrong lines. It's not a disorder that you can cure, you have to learn to live with it. Every time I look up and see a VS plane on approach over London I think "well, I have flown UC and will again sometime". ,Every time I fly a cr*ppy airline for work I think "well, I have flown UC and will again sometime". Every time I intercept my wife attempting to pay with the Tesco credit card and use the VS one I think "well, I have flown UC and will again sometime". Every time I suffer the sight of the "on time" departure of my evening train home being pushed off the departure board because it's already 10 minutes past that "on time" time I think "well, I have flown UC and will again sometime".

I'm with Paul, this is an incurable condition. Believe me, I've tried - CBT, EMDR, aversion therapy - none of it works. In an attempt to adjust I invested in electric recliner chairs that recline almost fully flat so I can veg out with my iPad / kindle / the home IFE

However, I think I went too far getting my husband to dress up as a Trolley Dolly and serve dinner at my seat. That was just creepy ;-)

Have to agree with pjh.

Cancelling our break in September made me realise I'll be back onboard again soon, what's one holiday!? In fact I think I'll appreciate it more because I was taking it all for granted!!
I always say if we've done it once, we'll do it again.
You'll be planning your next getaway sooner than you think...
Oh and hurry up with the TR!! We all need our fix!!!

Life is suffering, you must first acknowledge this before you can move on.
Suffering is cause by a number of things including attachment to worldly goods and unrealistic expectations.
You need to shed some of those worldly goods and expectations.
The best start would be donating all those miles to a poor pensioner.

Failing that pass the time planning your next trip and the one after that.
