LGW this morning

Hi I am in Mexico at the moment and scheduled to meet my son off VS 93 later today. He tells me they left the Stand on time and sat on the runway for 2 hrs and have now returned to refuel which will be another 40 mins or so. He has been told it is because of bad weather and he says there are many planes awaiting take off. He says that the weather seems ok. Anyone know what the problem is?

Must be more than weather it's nearly 4 hours late now and still sat at the gate. The 15 has gone and that leaves after the 93? I would imagine the crew are very close to going out of hours!
