VS137 - still wide open for a early May departure?

Keeping an eye out for a G on VS137 on the 7th May. EF is still showing the flight wide open:

Is it usual to have such a wide open flight 8 weeks out? It's an early flight (1150) so wondering if that makes a difference compared to say, VS45. I'm not giving up hope revenue management will flick the switch on a G considering the current loads.

I'm inclined to suggest a telephone call to FC.

I managed to get a G a few weeks ago.

They do seem very light... I wonder if the bank holiday has something to do with it?

I think it may be the economy and exchange rate, rather than the Bank Holiday.

Did you access the G fares direct through VA, or via FC?

I'll be interested in your feedback on UC & PE cabin occupancy, on the day.
