Hi everyone, I’m looking for ECO flights to Vegas in June. Currently the prices are sky high (£750+) and there is no reward availability for off peak. Does anyone think the prices will fall or reward availability will improve, or is it just a very popular time?

I'd say £750 is a reasonable price for a flight of that length, ex-LHR. You may be better served looking for options via SFO, JFK, SEA, LAX and ATL as some of those have more capacity.

I'd expect that price to rise as we get closer to June.

June is not a particularly busy time for Vegas other than the WSOP which in the scheme of things prob doesn't attract that many from UK

It's always and expensive route with little reward availability but I have never paid that much

Have you got hotel sorted? I've paid £590 inc delight seats (via ATL) and 4 nights in the Bellagio for May

I have looked at indirect options but they are still showing up as £500+ which is what we paid for direct last year!

The other option would be to go to LAX and book a separate flight which is showing good reward availability. My only concern is by booking separately we wouldn’t be covered if the internal flight back to LAX was delayed.

We haven’t booked hotel yet but ideally want to go in June to celebrate the in-laws wedding anniversary.

how many miles are you sitting on as there is lots of UC reward availability.

Consider getting the VS credit card and hitting the 10/20k spend to trigger the 2-4-1 voucher.

Really? Has things changed this this? Because the 2 for 1 voucher used to be useless. It changed to be a bit less useless, but it didn't sound as if any party was going on here about that change...

I think I let every single one of mines expire.

The new virgin card has a different type of 2 for 1 voucher but it's a bit useless IMO unless you are gold.

Anyone know when the next Virgin sale is likely to be?

Reward availability seems to be changing daily so keeping an eye on that but a good sale would help!
