ok, I think you will find that if you re-read the message I posted about the food being served, it was rude and rightly so, the two swear words were used in context to described the food, not Virgin Staff. The only way the food will get better is to critize the product, if you're happy with what you are offered then that's fine, but many members on here and non members are not even happy with the menu, even in upper class (however some will just say it's great just because it's a virgin product), I certainly thought it was uneven when I tasted it on September 5th and many times i've read on here postings comparing the menus in all three cabins unfavourably with other airlines, whether you pay for the ticket or somebody else does.
The VS procedure that you talk about is inconsistant. I was offered an exit row seat at LAX in June this year with no need to pay for the exit row seat on top of the price of my ticket, however on VS18 check in Wednesday morning, I was told that I would have to pay for this exit row seat (at Newark), even though the Check in person knew the plane was half loaded, for a price of $65, who then proceded to say that I could wait until 7am and see what happens then. So trying to make money out of me, however little just for the sake of it is plainly rediculous and an absolute con, you might just be able to see it, even if you don't regularly travel in economy, as the majority of Virgin customers do, and the majority of airline passengers can only afford to do worldwide.
For me, whatever is paid for an airline ticket, it's all about customer service, for some, it's all about labels. Yesterday when the FA reset my IFE and then said he would be back in ten minutes to check on it and never did return in the 10 minutes and didn't come anywhere near me for the 2hour and 10 minutes left of the flight duration, I say that's customer service gone out the window, whether he purposefully didn't reattend to my IFE or not, that's not something I can prove. Many of you will ask the question why I didn't move seats as the plane was only half loaded, that was an option open to me, but not one I could be bothered to be honest, including moving all my belongings.
I think the point was made however, as I was handed a customer satisfaction form to fill in at the end, which I did, for whatever it is worth, which is probably not much.
Many of you who are flying in Upper Class and are wondering why the Suite is falling to bits (and it is), the menu is uneven and staff service is uneven, you may want to look at the airline itself as the chief protagonist in this steady decline, the cost cutting messures, IBT removal and demotivated staff who quite rightly threaten pay strikes.
Those of you who have paid the extra £500 on top of the economy price to sit in (what is for me) the uncomfortable PE seat for an extra banana or apple or granola bar for breakfast and food served on white crockery, may think you've got the deal of a lifetime, but for me you don't get much for much more than for what is purely cosmetic.

Your posts were rude about VS Staff (rude not critical) and contained examples of your ignorance of VS procedures which you held up as being proof positive that VS staff were liars or trying to cheat you in some way.
If you read around the board more you'll find plenty of ways of criticising VS Staff, VS Procedures, VS Equipment or just VS themselves that do not descend to name calling and gratuitous swearing. You're more than welcome to continue posting, but as your parents probably told you a few years back 'if you're living in our house you live by our rules'.
