Hi,
I wonder if one of you experts can advise me.
I have been saving up my miles for some time and I am not lucky enough to be a frequent flyer, so it has taken me some time to get to 160000 miles. The original plan was to book two UC reward flights to San Fransisco for May 2007, but I have obviously been caught out by the mile increase due in March.
I may not be able to go in 2006, but on reading the terms and conditions on the webpage I have come across clause 4.2.1 "Once reward tickets are issued, you may make a change to your travel date, route or class of service for an amendment fee of £25..."
Now I am thinking, what if I was to book the reward flights prior to 1.3.2006 for lets say November 2006 and then phone them up nearer the time and try and re-schedule the flights for May 2007.
Am I correct in thinking that this should be possible and only cost me £ 50, but no extra miles?
thanks for your help
Chris
