Do a search for your likely aircraft on this site and then go to the seat maps and see if anyones commented on particular seats your interested in, thats how I pick mine;)

To properly answer that we need to know what the flight is Keith. I assume it is your gatwick to barbados flight. The best thing is to go to your booking on the VS website, update your booking, and this will show you a pictorial of the aircraft that is planned for your flight. You will be able to see if it is a 744, 343 or a 346. Armed with that info you can compare it to the seat maps here (you can also compare the pictorials on the two sites if you are not quite sure what aircraft layout you are looking at). The seatmaps at the link above give ratings and comments on the best seats to pick.

If you are still stuck please do ask.

BTW - you seem to be getting some value from the site. Have you noticed my taglines below;);)

Keith,

All UCS on LGW747 are good seats but my recommendations are 6A,6K,7A,&7K.

Right at the front, the A&K's are close enough to keep an eye on the kids.
Away from the bar, no traffic walking past.
Trouble is that there are only 14 UCS on LGW 747 and the front few seats are popular for couples and may already be booked. they are popular for couples and they may already be booked.

Enjoy your holiday and don't forget the TR.
