LHR Terminal 3 upgrades

Have heard that work is soon to start on the long awaited upgrades to Terminal 3 Departures at LHR. The current T3 car park is to be demolished and the departures area extended, believe a lot of the work involves the area around the zone A VS checkin. Any one have further news of this?
