Special offer link

Fairly good, 1100 USD for a return SFO-LHR-SFO in PE..

But! It is slightly odd..

"These fares do not qualify for Flying Club miles or tier points."

Maybe someone copied and pasted the T&C?

Cheers

They've done this before on UC sale fares too, and it hasn't applied.

I'm not sure what revenue booking code they could issue them in to NOT earn miles/TP's for Premium Economy, so I'd say you're safe...

I've had non-earning fares in Y before. As I recall it was £250 including taxes just after SARs. Can't remember which fare class they were on, but like you I can't think of a non-earning Premium class, except perhaps a reward code (?)

The non-earning Y fares were typically booked into N (hence no miles). Now that the N bucket earns 50%, and premium classes all earn their full amount, there shouldn't technically *be* any "non-mileage earning sale fares". [?]

Considering the value of TPs and miles I'd be tempted to spend up to a mileage-earning fare. These fares must be to fill seats regardless of afflication.
