[:?] My next flight to PVG on April 8th booked through an agent cost a tad more than the sale fare, (so no complaints there).

But I am wondering where Virgin would have stood on the price promise, had I have booked the "Economy - Lowest" fare that was the only price available on their website when i booked it at the start of February?

I guess their get out is that the sale fare will be the most restricted there is, where as the 500+quid ticket is a little more changable.

I guess this links in to the discussion on another thread about showing us what actual ticket class we are getting.

All in all, its a little unfair I think if they wiggle out of the price promise on a technicality. Of course I may be talking out of line, and they would infact refund me the difference had I booked the ticket at a higher price. [:o)]
