Have found a pile of used sleeper suits. I have only used them on the very rare occassion where I have had to sleep out-doors when it has been chilly.

The other half (who never takes a sleeper suit) is after me to throw them out which seems a shame. Should I leave them at a charity shop ? Any suggestions with what other folks do with their used sleeper suits ?

Could flog them on e-bay but do think it is worth the bother.

Any ideas

They're sold on eBay but honestly if you do not want to sell them; keep two that fit and trash the rest. Also if you know anyone that collects airline stuff they may want them.

If you have the inclination, sell them on eBay. I have sold sleepsuits in the past and they have always made a pretty penny - althought they were always brand new and unworn.

Nowadays i dont have any unwanted sleepsuits as the small collection i have here make for perfect attire when lounging around at home in the evenings :)

Hello all

I've not seen a VS sleep suit - is there a picture anywhere?

Also, how do you know that one will fit you? What are the sizes?

Sorry for the peculiar question, just curious... [:I]

Well mine were always left on the aircraft. So I have none. To be honest, I do not see myself having a need for a cheap, manmade, track suit even if it is black and has little virgin logos on. However, judging by ebay, I am the exception rather than the rule.

You could collect them together, throw them in a box in a haphazard way, dollop som old food on them and sell them to the tate modern as an inditment of the modern jet set age. You may make more than ebay ;)

Yup gotta hate those manmade tracksuits. I keep a team of elves on standby to craft mine. Truculent little b*****s too. You'd think they'd be grateful for the work. But no, it's always "the pixies down the road get thimbles" and "that's all very well but how are we going to retire to Tir Nan Og on these wages?". Ungrateful workshy otherworldly beings.

I use the sleep suits as lounging around the house fodder. :)

I keep a couple of sets at home, usually for offering to friends when they crash out and stay over here without overnight things. Oh, and a set that I use when I'm expecting to stay with other people, since I don't have pyjamas at home.

Otherwise, they get left on the aircraft once used.

Cheers,
Mike

I normally keep a few at home for friends staying over too. :)

I think the tops look ok under a shirt if its nippy outside.

Otherwise they are what I wear whilst watching a good DVD and eating a takeaway.

Do you have any decorating to do? they are good for that

Agree with milehigh - I've used them for decorating, working in the garden, or the top as an extra layer when running in cold weather. Mrs csparker keeps one as an emergency pair of pyjamas.
