This is great news for all travelling on 300/301/350/351 to and from BOM and DEL.

An advert in The Economic Times had UCS mentioned with 3 pics and said service available from 27th April. A reply to my email from Virgin confirmed that all flights on the India route will have UCS from this date.

Was a bit worried as am doing 351/350 in may/june and was v worried at the thought of being on VAEL or VFLY!! Congrats VS way to go :D

Fantastic! Just noticed on cmpany intranet that the last A340-300 has been rolled out of the hanger in its full UCS glory! G-VSEA. G-VAEL & G-VFLY will not be retroffited and will leave for warmer climes aka Virgin Nigeria towards the end of the year. Geat news for both passenger and crew alike! [oo]

Thanks guys for your replies.

Jonathan if I recollect coreectly you have experienced UCS of G-VELD to DEL.

GPIK yupp vsea has had UCS for about 15 days. A post in this forum did mention that either VFLY or VAEL was Finnair bound fyi not sure which one.

Am delighted that both flights will have UCS. Did fly Diana and African Queen last year when both were J2000. Is there any manner in which we can know which particular aircraft we will be on besides a vague idea from the 3 month history?

Hooray! My trip in May just got better. I wonder how quickly the website will update, it's still showing B351 on May 21st as J2000!

I frequently do the LHR-BOM run and that has been UCS for a while now. I think my last non-ucs flight was in December. However I think DEL was still a J2000 (hence I flew to BOM... that and its slightly further so all the more airmiles!).

Great news though
