Hey

I need to lay my hands on an old galley cart for a project. Anyone know where/how I can get one in the UK? I'm not aware of any salvage yards like the ones in the US.

Cheers

D.

I dont know exactly where you would get one but my advice would be to give the airline caterers a ring - so try Gate Gourmet and SAS - not sure of web sites but they should be able to help!

It's hard to know where you'd get a free one in the UK, since in the US we have tons of aircraft scrap yards in the southwest. You should probably follow Mark's instructions first.

Thanks for all the tips!
Question though: surely the galley carts are owned by the airlines and not the catering companies? So would I be better off calling the airlines, and asking them?
