Oh look, another "fare sale" [ii]

Anyway, here's the deal:

Book by 14 May 2006

Departing from
London Sale fare from Departure dates
New York (JFK) £349 : 08 May - 10 Jun 06
New York (EWR) £349 : 08 May - 10 Jun 06
Boston £379 : 08 May - 31 May 06
Washington £379 : 08 May - 31 May 06
Miami £399 : 08 May - 21 Jun 06
Los Angeles £399 : 08 May - 22 Jun 06
San Francisco £399 : 08 May - 31 May 06

Booking class appears to be ABOVE N, based on the number of miles va.com calculates you'll earn. (10716 return SFO, where N would be 5358) [y]

And, it's cheap enough to make Phil right when he told me the fare for his flight to SFO in 2 weeks would come down from £530... [:w][oo]

Ooooh - actually, it IS booked in N.

But, in seeing that, I've worked out that the milage calculation online for flights you're about to book now INCLUDES your tier bonus (25%/50%), where applicable. [y]

May, Sale Y Fare, Not logged in = "Miles you will earn" = 5358 (50%)
May, Sale Y Fare, Logged in = "Miles you will earn" = 10716 (50%+50%)
May, Regular Y Fare, Not logged in = "Miles you will earn" = 10716 (100%)
May, Regular Y Fare, Logged in = "Miles you will earn" = 16074 (100%+50%)

So, bad news is that the sale fares ARE in N class.

Good news is they've made definite progress on the site. (Or has this been there for a while, and I've just missed it all this time [:?])
