The "Golden Gift"

Got mine this morning. Finally. Really crappy pack, just a letter with tear off HEX/GEX (which I have used precisely once in the past 5 years) and some of the new tags.

Oh, and the 'Golden Gift' invitation: "Your hands are trembling. You don't normally win competitions. But something about this one feels different."

Sure, my hands are trembling. But with supressed rage. Yet another pointless competition that wins an economy prize. If I win I'll give the prize to someone who doesn't mind flying down the back.

When are Flying Club going to start catering for those of us who fly exclusively in premium cabins? Grr...

not sure the new pack design was worth the wait [:?]

but at least i have some new hex vouchers to use (instead of having to blag spare vouchers from my friends on here)... [:w]

Hmm. I added my father as my SSA in Jan. and got his temp. SSA packet within two weeks with a letter saying that a new card is on the way. Well the new designed card and GEX/HEX cert. arrived today but to my address in Murfreesboro, TN not the Washington address that both my gold and the SSA account have to be based out of. Interesting. Trendy pack.

And yes, I have not got mine at any of my addresses.

Ok,now im upset [:(!],my wife get's her VS card etc in the mail yesterday [y] which is great seeing as she has never stepped foot on VS metal..me however,former gold don't get one [n],I just spent 160 miles and I still don't get a card..where's the rattle throwing smiley.

Hummmm my Mums SSA replacement card came today and its been down graded to RED[:0]

I have desisted from posting over the last few days for various reasons
I have already attained pink anorak status thanks to moaning on about my gold card
I didn't want to become a pain in the butt moaning on about my gold card

However I now realise I have achieved both so I shall now continue to moan on about my gold card

No joy here either--in fact no one in our small company has received any packet, despite at least one Jan renewal.

I spoke to them two weeks ago and they said they would send me another pack as I should have had my orginal. Neither have arrived yet, the woman from the premier team even joked that she lives in the same road as me and could pop it in if they had em!!!!
