We're travelling UC to Orlando this year with our two children (6 and 10). Does anyone know how strict the rules are on allowing children into the clubhouse ? I've read elsewhere that they sometimes let them in if it's not too busy. I must admit I was rather looking forward to the lounge. Are we expected to take it in turns ?

If your children are travelling UC, then there is no problem with them going into the Clubhouse.

When I was travelling to MCO last year I popped into the LGW CH with my (then) 2 year old daughter courtesy of my Au card. When the staff heard that my wife and 3 month old son were downstairs they invited them up to join us. The staff were great and pampered them no end.

CH was quite quiet at the time so may be different if it was crowded but as Nick mentioned - if you're travelling UC then they are in.

You have paid for their tickets, so they go in, have fun.

Hi ric,

We travelled UC from Gatwick on Christmas Day with a 1 year old, we had no problem at all accessing the lounge the invitation stated 2 + infant.

I have been refused when using a Centurion Card and not in UC though so it does seem to me that you all need to be on UC tickets.

Its pretty irritating to be refused although I see their point that Centurion doesnt permit guests and even though I offered topay for the kids this was turned down and we skulked off to the priority pass lounge which of course was rotten by comparison.

Thanks to all who responded. I must admit, it was only the VH website that mentioned the age limit (12). That makes me feel a lot better. You probably guessed we are UC virgins, so not sure what we are entitled to. Are the treatments complimentary ?

Yes all the treatments are complimentary and you are advised to book them in advance. When we last went through LGW I hadn't although I had for my son. They did say they would try to fit me in but it wasn't possible.

Incidentally on that day there were several families with young children in the Clubhouse. It really isn't a problem
