Are the new super seats still going to be in the nice purple colour, similar to that of the UC seats?
It would be very odd if all the PE seats wern't eventually upgraded to the super seat. I'm guessing they're changing all the current seats to red as VS acknowledge its going to be a long time till the super seat is rolled out in all cabins.

On the face of it VITB's description of how all the cabins will ultimately look sounds nice. But I fear once it is finally rolled out across all the fleet another new look will have come about and the unified look will be lost again..

Having never travelled on the LGW fleet, I'm not sure of the condition of those seats, but on the A343s, for example, the W seats there are/were looking very tired and new seat covers would enhance the appeal of the cabin a lot:D

I like the concept of the blankets. The v-neck to stop it all falling down seems like a great idea to me. [y]

Classic spin control! :).

Begs the question though, why retro-fit the newest A/C (ie the A346's) first then [:?]

My feeling is that VS have had a lot of negative feedback regarding the Wash and Kash seat so they are being replaced first.

The blankets sound like a good idea.. does this mean they are longer so they go from your neck to your feet?
Sounds like a nice modern look to all cabins! :)

AFAIK, there hasn't been that much negativity about the newer seats, only that some feel the older ones were more comfortable - but that won't change simply with a seat cover[:?]

All these changes feels like VS promotion/design team are on something!!! The way that release reads is like what happened at BA with the oldnewnew club seat etc.. The new SuperSeat looks great so why don't they hurry it up a little and roll it out on all their a/c not just the 600s. It's like there's dozens of teams coming up with ideas and someone needs to shout STOP let's get them all organised together.

Also maybe I'm just getting a bit confused, but they increased the number of PE seats on the LGW as that was a profitable area so why aren't they going to be in line sooner for the superseat?
