I prefer the new one. Very funky!

The odd thing is, why release a new Flying Club card and then a couple months later change the logo, forcing a new card to be made anyway?

I think its okay, does look like a lower case version of the Virgin Galactic logo. Only thing, I think its lost a bit at the top of the VS website.

agree, strange sitting there, tucked in the corner.

As a logo it seems a bit lop-sided to me - may grow on me though.

Hope they dont replace the text on the side of the VS fuselage - that could look wierd.

I wonder if VS had to save money and implement the UC Scrooge Pack to pay for the redesign[?][}:)]

Looks weak compared to the old logo, to me.

I thought "buttonised" logos went out in the mid-90s, unless they are making a comeback? ;)

The whole thing - flying club cards, then this redesign, it all just smacks of money being spent in the wrong place, marketing/design people allowed to run riot without a clear view of what the end product needs to be, and a total absence of joined up thinking.

Why mess with such a strong brand?

All the trendy re-branding in the world won't make a "Scrooge Pack" (I love that description of it... nice one!) look inviting.

I like the look of the Virgin bit, but its all the wrong way round. Going from tall to short doesn't look right to me, and the Virgin logo tailfin is the wrong way round! Unless as part of the new livery they are going to swap the planes over to make them left handed.

Either way the tail is placed it will be the wrong way around on one side.. [:?] This logo shows a perspective looking toward the starboard side whereas the old one shows a perspective looking toward the port side of the aircraft.

According to our staff website, the new logo is going to start flying on our aircraft from october this year! That'll be interesting.

This is a complete waste of money in my opinion. There was nothing wrong with the old logo and there have been many threads about the evidence of cost cutting and yet they still want to put a new logo on everything[:?][V][B)]

We have done it so it stands out more than other airlines around the world when you see it next to other logos it stands out so much more than the old one did. Its not a waste of money. Its called staying upto date with the times.

The new logo will be going on things as they get reordered we are not throwing everything away and starting again. IE Stationary etc.
