Hi,

Quick question. Weve booked with Virgin Holidays, when we log on to VA.com and saw about booking our seats, only two seats were avalible through out the whole plane! And these was not together!

Does that mean other people have already booked there seats and we are gonna end up not siting together?

thanks, londonguy

I dont have personal experience, but from reading this forum if you utilise On Line Check In (OLCI) you may find seats become available in the 24hrs prior to departure.

If not, it cant hurt to arrive early for check in and 'beg' the check in agent :)

Good luck !!

Only a certain % of seats are made available for pre-selection. As nevadakaz says, 24 hours before departure, many more get released - this is when you'll be able to (hopefully) select better seats)

How far in advance is your flight londonguy? obviously the closer you get to the flight the less seats are available in the "manage your flights" section - as preiffer says more seats will be released for OLCI, or you can always try the good old "get to the airport early" and be at the front of the queue.

Even if you use the "Book Your Seats" facility as soon as it's made available for your flight there's a whole swathe of seats that are not available for preassignment and are kept back for the day of the flight.
