VS011 Seat configuration

Hi my first post so please be gentle with me.

My wife & I are due to fly to Boston in October from LHR, I have looked at the seat ratings for the configuration that is showing for our seats and see that there are no ratings for the configuration, it's a A340-600 Config 2 as best as I can make out. We are flying PE and there seems to be 1 row extra compared to config 1 showing on the aircraft that is seemingly allocated to our flight.

Is there any reason why there are no ratings for Config 2 or am I missing something? [?]

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer [y]

The config 2 you are refering to is fairly new and is very similar to the config 1 apart from the small change in the PE/Y cabin (main changes are the extra row in PE/slight layout change in Y). I guess as it is fairly new nobody has posted any seat ratings/reviews yet but if you look at the config 1, it will give you a good idea.

Sorry can't be of more help, Im sure a fellow V-Flyer who may have flown the config might be ablt to help more

As Neil has already mentioned the config 2 is still pretty new so not many poeple have had a chance to try it yet.

Just to complicate matters even more, some config 2 A346's have not yet got the new Premium and Economy seats.

hey, I would say the best seats are the two at the back of premium on the AC or HK sides, although they have the toilets directly behind they are away from the galley which can be noisy, with ovens, china, carts etc.
