Ok,I've bitten the bullet and booked lounge access as above (flying PE, so sadly no clubhouse for me). Now - I know there will only be 'snacks' (nibbles) available, but does anyone know whether these vary, according to the time of day? I'll be arriving around 7am - just wondered whether they maybe put out something like muffins along with the nuts!

If not, I assume it's ok to go out to buy a bacon sarnie and bring it back in again?

They only do nibbles, and biscuits I'm afraid [:(!]

I would buy a buttie if I were you ;). Not to put you off though, it is still infinitely better than the public lounge. Just one thing; can you manage to knock back booze at 0700?

Not sure I can manage that sailor, but that'd apply to the cluhouse too!

Yes, I knew they only provided nibbles, just wondered if the nibbles varied at all. And yes, taking a bacon buttie in sounds like the way forward - but once inside, is it kosher to go back out again, if we don't buy the butties on the way in?

And yes, am hoping it's better than being 'outside' - the last trip made me vow to buy access, however inferior to clubhouse standards...

Snob? who, me? Er.... yeah...[:0][:0]

It is fine to go back outside, then return. However I am confused by this concept of buying Kosher Bacon Butties.[?]Do such a thing exist?

Out of interest who did you book the Lounge through? If you are an Egg card holder you can get 50% off (cashback) on lounge bookings here AND you can get the Continental President's Club instead of the Servisair - still not the VS Clubhouse but better than Servisair IMHO.

Yeah, you make them with "Turkey Bacon". It sounds wrong, I know.

Through APH - I got an extra discount for being an employee with a local authority.

I don't have an egg card, but might be worth thinking of getting one in future....

Oh yes, you just buy a bacon sarnie and pretend it's kosher....or not, depending on your whim.

There are 2 servisair lounges in the South Terminal, and sadly one of them is far behind the other in terms of comfort, dŽcor etc. Check what time your flight is to make sure you know which one you can gain access to. I had to go into the scummy one last weekend and it sucked. Great view of the runway and freely flowing bar though (which helped). Screaming kids did not. (They even did the whole "are we there yet" routine. Gah!)
