Jacq, how good are the amenity kits on your rockets?
I'm thinking of using them for my next flight [}:)]

LOL! Sorry Dean no amenity kits with these budget airlines, and unfortunately no guarantee of arriving at your chosen destination either [ii]. The only guarantee is a fair bit of thrusting and explosive excitement [}:)] Make sure you come and give one of them a good pumping this time...no need to be shy now ;)

You weren't supposed to ask that! It is a lazy form of written English, being a mangling of 'naturally'.

I think I have ended up with egg on my face, right Prieffer?

Bingo.

Y'know, I WAS going to bite - but I could see the rope looming over your neck when you took on a newbie with a natch... [:w]

As the wissened old sod who takes it upon himself to organise this event every year, you and yours are more than welcome to join the party!

As for the two of them, well it may become boarding passes at 9 o'clock!

However. you don't need to worry about that, you are on the boat!

Barry.

Nar. More like amenity kits at 9 o'clock. Hang on though, there isn't any moisturiser in the kits to squirt at each other any more [n]

None of them either. Could have a fight with dirty tooth brushes from the heads though.

Are they called "heads" ( tha nautical name for the loo for those not familiar) on an aeroplane?

His two companions were trying to supress their laughter though (whilst trying to look sympathetic)...LOL

Strictly speaking yes. Airliners from the pre-flying boat days did aquire all the nautical expressions. So you actually sit on the port or starboard (larboard having gone by the by before air travel started), and these are marked by red and green lights (the colours were selected before colour blindness was known about) on the wings. And just on a principle of correctness; you don't turn left, you turn forward and you embark or board, not 'get on'!
