Virgin change times to Shanghai

I have just had an email from out travel agent to advise that VS have changed the return time from shanghai on the 28th Sept to an evening flight , now getting in at 22.00 in the evening - that leaves me stranded and cannot get home to Dublin that evening - I will now have to change to BA - Why have they done this? Absolutly crazy - and for some reason only this date - so its change airline or stay an extra night - all going to now cost extra

Well, you could just stay overnight in an airport hotel and get the first flight to DUB the next morning - assuming your LHR-DUB flight is cheap enough to throw away, or can be rebooked for a change-fee?

If you're end-on-end ticketing, rather than using through ticketing, this is one of the risks you expose yourself to.
