Dubai upgrade on miles?

Hi,
I am flying to dxb tomorrow and have a(N) economy ticket. Can anyone advise on how best to get myself upgraded to UC. Either pay or miles but not sure if any of the two options is available?

You are going to have to upgrade the N class ticket to another economy class ticket that is suitably flexible. The only option for this part will be cash & maybe a change fee too.

Once you've got an economy ticket that is flexible / upgradeable, all will depend on the load on the flight that day. If loads are fairly full up front, then they may well only want to allow upgrades for cash. If it's a little on the light side, then they may take miles, or a cash+miles combination.
