Can't say I've ever known a "poor" cabin on the current aircraft within VS. Yes, the odd seat breaks every now and then (as do all aircraft seats at some point), but nothing especially poor.

Was there a particular aspect you're concerned about?

The 747 -200's have retired long ago. The big debate is whether you get a nova equipped plane or one of the ones with the games, which incidentally are actually older.

Either way, you shouldn't have any problems.

I don't think any VS cabins could be classed as shabby, obviously some are older than other so won't have the same "brand new" feel, however I very much doubt you will have any problems.

If you look on the photos section of this site here there are many interior cabin shots of various different a/c which will show you the condition.
